Cincinnati based guitarist Randy Johnson is well known in many circles as one with the ability to "energize" and bring musical projects "up to a whole new level".

With strong musical development as early as age 12 and certifications years later as a Professional Guitarist "with honors" from the Atlanta Institute of Music, he has played in styles of Rock to Metal, Blues to Jazz Blues, Progressive, New Age, Classical and Country.

Randy has studied under Jimmy Herring (at A.I.M.), Tom Hess and Greg Howe and continues to expand his abilities.  His current guitar studies are in the area of jazz blues and rock fusion.

After years of being involved in various bands and projects he has made the decision to pursue a solo career but does continue to participate in various collaborations on a local, national and international level.

In addition to being a guitar teacher/coach, home recording instructor and Logic Pro consultant in Cincinnati, Randy is also a published author of guitar and music related instructional articles and a touring clinician.
